Photobucket Posting

• Photographs should be taken on Whidbey Island.
• Photographs should feature wildlife.
• Please limit postings to three photos at a time.

The preview feature will work better if posters only put up a few pictures at a time. If you have more, please wait a month or so. If too many pictures are posted, viewers won't take the time to look at them.

Please be aware that anything posted on the internet is liable to be copied.

Procedure
The procedure is as follows:

• Go to Photobucket Signup and create an account for yourself.


• If you post pictures here, they won't show up on Whidbey Audubon's album. Instead, once you're registered, go to Whidbey Audubon's album (http://photobucket.com/whidbeyaudubon).
  
  You will see either Whidbey Audubon's uploader
  
  or a link labeled "Add photos & videos to this group," which will open the uploader.
  
  


• PhotoBucket will send Whidbey Audubon an email notifying us of the new postings. The photo editor will copy the thumbnails and the links to the Whidbey Audubon web page.

Ordinarily, the photo editor will approve the posted pictures within a day. Occasionally he goes on trips and so it could be longer, even weeks. Please be patient.

Things change. If the links on this page don't work, please send a message to the website guy using an online letter.
